That was awesome to see these fishermen coming back from fishing, tired but so happy of their catches.
These guys caught two decent pike : 95cm and 100cm.
Well done ! Nice release !

What a lovely day. We all like that when it starts whith a nice weather and some action. We landed 25 pikes in less than 6 hours fishing. The average size was 58cm, that's a bit tiny but still fun to catch. They were standing in 2m deep and we used big jerkbaits to catch them.
The day was sunny and a bit windy. A little bit too much for me but it was good enough to make nice drifts.
We wanted to target the big ones but only smalls bite... even on our buster jerks and other big lures.
This is the only perch I caught with my precious lipless from SMITH, the Bay Blue. It was 5m deep and I was looking for pikes...
Here you can see the fishing outfit I'm using, a SMITH rod, the DragonBait "Big Bait" with a Daïwa reel the Pluton and 50lb braid.

While we were having fun with our tiny pikes, these two guys caught a 100cm then a 105cm pike in the river. On the second picture, it's 7pm.
But today George caught this nice 95cm pike despite the very good weather and the poor bites during the day.
They saw 2 small älgs hiding near the water.
And now this is just for fun, more pictures...
Sincerly yours :)
